Nepal Tourism and Hotel Management College are located at Chinedada, Pokhara-18. It is registered under the Pokhara University which was established in 1997 as the fifth University in the country under the Government s Policy of adopting a multi-University system in the country with the aim t expand access to higher education. The Vice-Chancellor of the University and the Pro-Chancellor is the Minister of education.
NTHMC is the pioneer in launching the BHM program in more than one way. It was not only the college to introduce the Bachelor of Hotel Management program to Nepal but also was the first college to upgrade the BHM program to an internationally accepted 4 years program way back in 2005. This makes NTHMC a unique experience to run this demanding program with the international market. The strength of the college lies in the involvement of practicing and former practicing managers in teaching.
More than 70% of the faculties in the core subject areas of the course have come from industry backgrounds. Not only this, there is an uninterrupted exchange of faculty members between the college and the hotel industry.
Nepal Tourism and Hotel Management College of Pokhara, Chinedada is affiliated with Pokhara University and with National Examination Board as well. It offers plus two (+2) and Bachelor level programs.
