The ING Group's associate college, Informatics College Pokhara, was founded in 2011. It began its academic career as a franchisee of Singapore-based Informatics Education Limited. Since 2017, Informatics College Pokhara has worked directly with London Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom to provide students in Pokhara with an enviable higher education in IT and Business at a reasonable price.

5. Lecture-Tutorial-Workshop

The college adopts the Lecture-Tutorial-Workshop methodology of teaching. In this method, students attend a lecture where the lecturer uses various media – lecture slides, audio, video, etc. with an in-depth knowledge of the topic. Students can access the lecture materials and additional learning materials via a college server and also through the printing department.

Admission Guidelines

Interested students who have completed or appeared their higher secondary final exams can directly apply to the college with their academic certificates, citizenship certificate or passport or birth certificate, or citizenship of either of the parents. The students awaiting results can get provisional admissions. Once at the college, the admission team will assess the entry requirement mentioned below and assist in the admission process. Applicants should be minimum of 18 years of age and should possess the minimum qualifications mentioned below:

Entry Requirement

Academic Level

NEB +2 overall aggregate of 2.2 CGPA (55%) or above with each subject (theory and practical) grade D+ or above, and SEE Mathematics score of C+ ( 50%) or above.
For A-Levels, a minimum of 3.5 credits and at least a grade of D and above.

English Proficiency

English NEB XII Marks ≥ 60% or 2.4 GPA

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Informatics College Pokhara (ICP) offers AAA scholarship for its students, which means every year they can achieve a 100% refund of their total college fees paid (excluding Admission fee and University fee). The student has to be excellent in their Academics, Attendance, and Attitude in order to receive this scholarship.
