This highly vocational course will equip students with marketing knowledge and skills that can be applied across a wide range of industries, and it will take a progressive and critical approach to how businesses identify and respond to their customers' needs.

Eligibility

  • NEB 10+2 overall aggregate of 55% or 2.2 GGPA* and above, Year 12 English score 60% or 2.4 GPA* and above, and SLC Mathematics score of 50% above, or
  • 2 ‘A’ Level passes with minimum grades A to C or 3 ‘A’ Level passes with minimum grades D and above; and General Paper (A or AS Level) or English (A or AS Level) with Grade E and above.

If the students don't match the above-mentioned English requirements, they are required to take one of the following English tests instead: IELTS 5.5 or higher (minimum of 5.5 in each component) or a Pearson Test of English score of 47 or higher.

Students who do not meet the Entry Requirements must enroll in iAcademy's University Foundation Certificate program (UFC). UFC is a one-year academic program offered by iAcademy (New Zealand) and articulated by London Metropolitan University with advanced standing (UK).

University Foundation Certificate Entry Requirements

  • NEB +2 total aggregate of 45% or 1.8 GGPA* and above, and Year 12 English score of 45% or 1.8 GPA* and above, or
  • 2 ‘A’ level subject passes, and a pass in General Paper (A or AS Level) or English (A or AS Level) with Grade E and above.

If you don't match the above-mentioned English requirements, you can take one of the following English tests instead: IELTS 4.5 or a Pearson Test of English score of 37 or higher.

Semester 1

  • Academic English for Undergraduate Study: 30 Credits
  • Undergraduate Study and Research Skills: 30 Credits
  • Foundational Mathematics: 15 Credits
  • Introduction to IT: 15 Credits

Semester 2

  • Academic English for Undergraduate Study: 30 Credits
  • Undergraduate Study and Research Skills: 30 Credits
  • Foundational Statistics: 15 Credits
  • Introduction to Business: 15 Credits

*London Metropolitan University evaluates all additional qualifications on a case-by-case basis.

Admission Criteria

Students who have completed or are scheduled to complete their higher secondary final exams can apply to the institution immediately with their academic certificates, citizenship certificates or passports, birth certificates, or citizenship of either parent. Provisional admissions are available to students awaiting results. When you arrive at the institution, the admissions team will review the entry requirements listed below and assist you with the application process. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and meet the eligibility criteria.
