Nepal Bharat Maitri Vidyalaya was opened in year 2000 to look after the educational requirement of the ward of brave Gorkhas who have served and have been serving Indian Army. The Vidyalaya is managed by the Military wing, Embassy of India, Kathmandu and patronized by the Ambassador of India.
Nepal Bharat Maitri Vidyalaya, Pokhara started functioning with effect from July 17, 2000 with the strength of 226 students. The motto of the school is Strength, Knowledge, and Courage and their mission is "To bring out the excellence in each child to meet the global challenges in 21st century".
