Machhapuchhre Secondary School, located in Bhurjungkhola, Kaski, has been offering quality education to students from nursery to grade 12. The school was originally established in 2015 B.S. as Shree Nabin Bal Bikash Primary School in Gaira, Sardikhola V.D.C., Kaski. It gained permanent status in 2017 B.S., thanks to the valuable support and encouragement of local well-wishers. In 2024 B.S., the school was upgraded to the Lower Secondary Level and relocated to its current site.
School's History
Realizing the urgent need for a high school in the village, late Gir Bahadur Gurung, Mr. Khem Raj Regmi, late Damber Singh Gurung, Mr. Bhim Tamang, then Head Teacher Mr. Harka Bahadur Gharti, and other community members led efforts to raise financial support from the local villagers. With their initiative, five huts with five rooms each were constructed during the school's early phase. The school was upgraded to grade ten in 2045 B.S. and later received approval from the Higher Secondary Education Board in 2069 B.S.
