Jivan Jyoti Secondary School is a publicly owned academic institution located in Gutu, Surkhet, Karnali Province. The school is affiliated with the National Examinations Board (NEB) and offers Ten Plus Two (10+2) programs, focusing on providing accessible and quality education to students in the region.

In addition to its general academic programs, the school received affiliation from the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) in 2075 BS to run the JTA (Junior Technical Assistant) – Plant Science program.
