ABOUT

Kathmandu Shiksha Campus is one of the public campuses affiliated to Tribhuvan university established on April 28, 1991 (B.S. 2048 Baisakh 15) with commitment and sincere efforts of reputed and experienced educationists having associated with teacher education /training for many years. It is located in the heart of the capital city. Its main objective is to produce trained educational human resources for the school/college and other educational institutions, the demand of which is a felt need of the country. It is a non-profitable but service-oriented public institution, which is committed to providing quality education in the country. The sole is the responsibility of the management of the campus lies in the Campus Management Committee (CMC). The CMC is the apex executive body of the campus which, with the help of the standing committee, is responsible for policymaking and directing the campus administration. The campus administration has always tried to be informative and service-oriented.

Admission Guidelines

The candidates from Tribhuvan University should submit photocopies of the transcripts and character certificate of the previous degree whereas the candidates from other universities should submit migration certificates (original), the photocopy of equivalent testimonials from SLC onward at the time of submitting the application form.(Curriculum Development Center of T.U is the authority for providing equivalence certificate of degree of other universities and boards.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to exceptional students in order to recognize and promote their academic excellence. There are many Scholarships schemes for commendable students who meet expected norms.

Need-Based Scholarship

The students representing Dalit, Madhesi, Low family income, different women, disadvantaged and underprivileged groups will get need-based scholarships as per the rules/ norms of Campus.

Discount for Admission

KSMC provides special discounts as per the rule of campus for those students who get high GPAs/marks in previous board exams & in entrance exams for their admission. However, no discount shall be given for tuition/monthly/semester fees.

Merit-Based Scholarships

Students who get the top positions in the board exams or at the end of each semester are provided performance-based scholarships. However, the students studying in grades 11 and 12 will also get scholarships on the basis of their performance in terminal examinations.
