Kantipur Campus has a long history of more than two decades of providing higher education to the rural community. It was established in 2048 B.S. in Thali, Danchhi by the collective effort with active participation of community and public stakeholders of eastern part of Kathmandu. The campus is publicly owned community based co-education institution running its academy program with two faculties, viz. management and humanities. Campus got the affiliation of National Education Board (NEB) in 2057 B.S. for running +2 programs in management and humanities.  The Campus has launched academic program to cope up with changing circumstance and has been running Bachelor Level (B.A.& B.B.S) from 2056 B.S. The institution has diversified its academic programs from I.A., I.Com, and +2 to Bachelor level (B.A. & B.B.S.). The pools of professional teaching staffs have been dedicated to create academic environment. About 100 thousand people of 4 Municipalities are expected to be benefited from this campus directly or indirectly. The Campus owned 38 ropanies (190,000 Sq.ft) of land along Kathmandu- Sankhu highway in Thali where campus has built its own building.

Kantipur Campus is a non profitable community based institution affiliated to the National Education Board (NEB), Government of Nepal. It is committed to grow up as the high level modern institutional approaches and fundamental traits of education that builds up a competent manpower endowed with honesty, compassion, courage, persistence and responsibility along with a modern vision of conceptual and scientific reasoning. Located at peaceful and panoramic view of Gokarna Forest in the east of Kathmandu – Sankhu Highway which is undoubtedly a milestone in the field of imparting outstanding academic performance since 2048.
