Admissions for Bachelor Programs - Apollo International College

Apollo International College, located in the heart of the capital city Kathmandu, New Baneshwor announces admissions in the following programs:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Insurance (BBA-BI)
  • Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM)
  • Bachelor of Computer System and Information Technology (BCSIT)

Admission Requirements

For BBA, and BBA-BI

  • +2 or proficiency certificate level or equivalent recognized by Pokhara University
  • For the year 2078 and before, applicants must have minimum CGPA of 1.8 (At least D+ in each subject)
  • For the year 2079 and then after, applicants must have minimum CGPA of 1.8 (At least D in each subject)
  • Second division (45%) in percentage system.

For BHM

For Grade 12 Graduates till 2078 BS

Pass Grade 12 examiantion with a minimum CGPA 1.8 and achieve a minimum of D+ grade in every subjects in Grade 11 and 12.

For Grade 12 Graduates from 2079 BS

Pass Grade 12 examiantion with a minimum CGPA 1.8 and achieve a minimum of D grade in every subjects in Grade 11 and 12.

If an applicant wishes to pursue a certain program, he or she must submit an application for admission using the specified form and include attested copies of the following documents.:

  • Transcript and Character Certificate of 10+2 or equivalent
  • Original Migration Certificate for those students who have passed NEB exam or equivalent from a foreign country
  • Copy of Citizenship

For BCSIT

Applicant should have passed intermediate or equivalent in Science to be eligible to apply for this course. They must have acquired 50% score in their intermediate.

To be accepted into the chosen programs, the candidates must have passed the admission exam and the interview.

Entrance Test

On receipt of the completed application form, the candidate shall be registered for the Entrance Test. All applicants for the program are required to sit for an Entrance Test. The Test is designed to assess candidates for the program in the following areas.

  • Verbal ability: 25 marks
  • Quantitative ability: 25 marks
  • Logical reasoning: 25 marks
  • General awareness: 25 marks

Interview

Successful candidates at the written test will present themselves at interview/aptitude test along with parents or guardians. Those candidates who are listed in the final record will meet us within the time frame as fixed by the college.

Scholarship Information

For the First Semester

Scholarships will be awarded to qualified candidates based on their NEB exam CGPA, entrance exam performance, and interview performance.

For Second through Eighth Semesters

Scholarships for the second through eighth semesters will be awarded based on the preceding semester's results. Only the first three candidates, who are either university or college topper, receive 100%, 50%, and 25% of the tuition price, respectively. If the top scorers have the same SGPA, the scholarship will be divided proportionately.
