Rupy's International School

Baphal, Tahachal, Kathmandu

The Rupy's International School has created an environment where the children are first and foremost concentrated to be at school with their friends and teachers. A child wanting to go to school is a good sign to start the day. They can speak and express themselves in a language that is widely understood at school. The school's guiding principles are holistic development and individualized attention for each and every student. We place a high value on each child, which is why we maintain a great teacher-to-student ratio of 1:6.

The GCE A-Levels program at the university of Cambridge is where we are starting this year. In accordance with the National Examination Board (NEB) of Nepal, it is equivalent to 10+2 education. The University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (UCLES) was founded by the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom in 1858. Today, UCLES is the pioneer in educational assessment around the globe. More than a million applicants take the UCLES exam each year from more than 150 nations.

The A-level program is more geared toward the Nepali context in order to provide students with easy access to reputable universities abroad for higher education after the course is over, but students who successfully complete the program are still very likely to pursue further education in Nepal in the field of their choice. A student who successfully completes an A' level enjoys the immeasurable advantage of continuing their education anywhere in the world and can choose any national and international course of their personal preference. This is because the scope of an A' level of education is so broad.

The subject-wise classroom was first implemented in Nepal at Rupy's International School. This is a cutting-edge method of the teaching and learning process where the teachers are positioned in the subject-specific classes and the students alternate between classes each period. The teacher can then set up the classroom in accordance with the requirements of the curriculum and the interests of the students. Each student has a personal locker to store their belongings in.
