Janajyoti Secondary School

Founded in 2044BS, Janajyoti Secondary School was the first boarding school to have been established in Bardiya district. The name "Janajyoti" refers to the giving light to the citizens of the nation through education. When the school was established, atrocity of Panchayat System was looming over the nation that led private institutions to dwell in limbo. 

Jana Jyoti Secondary School, which was commenced with 128 students, has now been able to ensconce itself as one of the pioneering institutions in Bardiya district. Its relentless journey of educating young learners had to tread over social stigmas and criticism from people. Now the school encompasses around 1300 students. 

The school offers the courses for science and management streams for 11th and 12th graders. Having been spread over 0.58 hectres of land, the school incorporates all essential equipment for the overall development of the learners like computer lab, science laboratories, library, well-furnished classrooms, spacious playground and so on.
