Quest International College will host the fifth Narayan Prasad Memorial Inter-College Basketball Tournament beginning on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. The competition will feature 9 men's and 5 women's teams, according to Colin Kiran Shrestha, director of Quest.
The men's category will be split into two groups, with the game being played in a knockout format. Quest International College, Shubhashree College of Management, Malpi International College, and GoldenGate International College are in Group A, while Kathmandu College of Management, SAIM College, Xavier International College, Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), and KIST College are in Group B.
The women's tournament will be run in a round-robin format. The round robin's top two teams will progress to the finals. Quest, Malpi, Shubhshree, Natham, and SAIM are the teams competing.
The winner of the men's competition will get Rs 50,000, while the runner-up will receive Rs 30,000. The first place award for ladies will be 30,000, while the second place prize will be 20,000. Both teams' 'Most Valuable Player' would get a gift hamper as well as Rs 5,000 in cash.
The games of the competition, which will last until May 9th, will be held on the organizer's court in Gwarko.
