1. Placements and Endeavors
The technical competencies imparted and the personality virtues accentuated by SAIM have helped lead its graduates to a diversified platter of jobs and employers after or even before graduation.
2. Career Counseling and Placement Cell
Career Counseling aims to help graduates identify the most appropriate career choice. Considering the personality and interest, and to assist them in making a successful transition from school to the actual job market. Through its corporate linkages, the Career Counseling and Placement cell also facilitates the placement of its graduates.
3. SAIM Entrepreneurship Club
The SAIM Student Society is the governing student body at the South Asian College of Management. It is an initiative of the students, established with the vision of promoting a collaborative culture among students and enhancing their leadership skills. The Student Society aims to further the best interests of all students at the college through student representation in matters affecting student life and affairs by promoting and supervising club activities and improving community relations. SAIM Student Society supports the overall development of students by engaging them in various activities relating to business, sports, culture, and careers. Realizing the necessity for student self-governance, the SAIM Student Society was officially founded in 2010.
The SAIM Student Society consists of 18 members; 10 members are elected from the election among the students. These students will represent the core member of the Society, and the rest eight members will be the class representatives of their respective classes. SAIM Student Society will be led by the President of the Society, who will have a tenure of 1 Year for the operation.

The SAIM Alumni Association is the platform for connecting with your mates and colleagues. Keeping this in mind SAIM Alumni Association will help the pass-out students of SAIM College to stay connected. The Alumni Association is the governing body under the SAIM College. Research and Consulting
SAIM has provided consulting services to the government and other national and international agencies. In the past,
SAIM has provided consulting services to the Ministry of General Administration of the Government of Nepal, which focused on the structural redesign of the ministry. Similarly, SAIM reviewed the organizational structure of the Poverty Alleviation Fund (PAF), an autonomous body supported by the World Bank that implements poverty alleviation programs in Nepal.
For the South Asia Enterprise Development Facility (SEDF), a multi-donor funded, IFC-managed, regional initiative based in Bangladesh, SAIM assessed and identified potential SMEs in Nepal for future support and development. In the recent past,
SAIM has conducted numerous training in customer service management, valuation of securities, evaluation of mutual funds, understanding derivates, sales management, customer service management, and consulting skills. Various organizations from commercial banks, financial institutions, the Central Bank of Nepal, and manufacturing companies have participated in and benefited from this training.

Admission Guidelines
SAIM chooses applicants who can demonstrate their leadership potential and make a difference in the marketplace through their true abilities and skills. SAIM focuses on a candidate with a clear mission and vision about their road to success, and SAIM adds value to their path. We believe in our environment. Students are willing to learn continuously and make a difference.
If you are one, the following students can apply for the program:
MBA (Global Business)
Students from any stream who have completed a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level with a minimum of 50% overall aggregate score of at least 2.0 CGPA may apply for the program.
Students who have completed all the semester/year (with 50% or above) and are awaiting final semester/year results may apply for admission on a provisional basis.
Candidates are required to pass the PUMAT examination. Candidates shall also appear in the in-person interview to be eligible to get admission to MBA (Global Business) program.
BBA
Students from any stream who have completed Grade 11 or equivalent level with a minimum of 50% overall aggregate score may apply for the program.
GCE A-level students must have cleared at least 3 Advanced Level Courses.
Students who have completed Grade 11 (with 50% or above) and are awaiting Grade 12 results may apply for admission on a provisional basis.
Admission Process for BBA
To apply for admissions, you can do either of the following:
- Visit the college, obtain the form, complete it and submit it to the college with all the required documents.
- Students from any stream who have completed a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level with a minimum of 50% overall aggregate score of at least 2.0 CGPA may apply for the program.
- Students who have completed all the semester/year (with 50% or above) and are awaiting final semester/year results may apply for admission on a provisional basis.
- To apply for admissions, you can do either of the following:
- Students from any stream who have completed Grade 11 or equivalent level with a minimum of 50% overall aggregate score may apply for the program.
- GCE A-level students must have cleared at least 3 Advanced Level Courses.
- Students who have completed Grade 11 (with 50% or above) and are awaiting Grade 12 results may apply for admission on a provisional basis.
- Transcripts and certificates of Grade 12 or equivalent examinations
- Certificate and transcript of Grade 10 (SLC or equivalent)
- Character certificate (SLC and Grade 12)
- Provisional certificate
- Migration certificate
- Citizenship certificate or Passport Document
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
SAIM offers tuition waivers to students who top their class based on the results of the end-term examinations. This is, however, valid for the particular term only. Besides, the college also provides a few scholarships to deserving students. Students having achievements in sports/music/arts are also provided with scholarships subject to qualifying criteria set by the college.
