The "After-SEE Portal" was officially launched by Edusanjal. The portal was unveiled during an event hosted by Edusanjal in conjunction with Edupatra at Hotel Himalaya, Pulchowk Lalitpur.A roundtable discussion about the lack of standardization of intermediate-level scholarships across the country kicked off the opening event. Mahendra Chhetri and Ram Prasad Subedi, heads of the Lalitpur and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Education Departments respectively, convened the roundtable discussion. DK Dhungana, President of PABSON, distinguished educationist Prof. Dr. Bidya Nath Koirala, Suprabhat Bhandari, Chairman of Nepal Abhibhavak Mahasangh, Kamala Tuladhar, President of Nepal Teachers Federation, Ram Hari silwal, vice-chairman, HISSAN took part in the discussion. Similarly, many representatives from both public and private educational institutions like Anju Bhattarai, Principal of Aksharaa School, Bhola Nath Ojha, Campus Chief, Janamaitri Multiple Campus, Surendra Subedi, Principal, Kathmandu Model Secondary School-Balkumari and Deepak Khadka, Program Coordinator at KIST College & SS also voiced their opinions on the topic of discussion. The roundtable culminated with the remarks of Deepak Sharma, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST).
The main program, the After-SEE Portal Launch, was then officially launched by Mahashram Sharma, Chairman of the National Examinations Board (NEB), following the roundtable discussion. Mr. Bidur Acharya, the CEO of Edusanjal, then gave a quick preview of the portal, which is a one-stop shop for prospective students seeking the appropriate intermediate-level program at a suitable institution. Mr. Acharya also demonstrated the organization dashboard, which will be available to institutions that sign up for Edusanjal and will allow them to track the applicants funneled through Edusanjal's application process.
Edusanjal's admission portal eliminates extra hours of searching, shortlisting, and visiting colleges. Institutions that offer intermediate-level courses from various streams on the portal, and students will be able to apply for a course at the institution of their choice with just a few clicks.
Similarly, the event also had Edusanjal's +2 Scholarships Announcement, in which it will be partnering with various schools to provide merit-based scholarships for deserving students. Kathmandu Model Secondary School-Balkumari is the main sponsor of the scholarship campaign. Co-sponsors of the campaign include the College of Business Management, The British College, Texas International Secondary School, and Premier SS/College. Several schools have already enrolled in the +2 Scholarships campaign. Onboarding for schools around the country will be open for the next fifteen days after the announcement.
