The field of cardiology in Nepal has experienced remarkable growth, resulting in the emergence of several prestigious institutions across the country. These institutions offer DM Cardiology programs to medical professionals aspiring to specialize in cardiology, catering to the increasing demand for specialized practitioners.
The list of DM Cardiology colleges in Nepal consists of renowned medical colleges that have established themselves through academic excellence, valuable research contributions, and extensive clinical expertise. Equipped with cutting-edge cardiac catheterization labs and advanced imaging technologies, these colleges provide modern infrastructure that facilitates hands-on learning, fostering a deep understanding of cardiac diseases and their effective management.
In Nepal, the DM in Cardiology program is offered by two universities—Kathmandu University (KU) and Tribhuvan University (TU)—as well as two health science academies, NAMS and BPKIHS.
For 2024, a total of 19 seats have been allocated: 6 in TU-affiliated medical colleges, 8 in KU-affiliated medical colleges, 4 at NAMS, and 1 at BPKIHS.
