The DM/MCh program of B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences is of 3 years duration. The final examinations will be held between 34 and 36 months after the commencement of the course. The maximum time limit to complete the course is 6 years from the date the course started.

Eligibility

Candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria can apply for DM/MCh Entrance Examination for admission to DM/MCh.

For DM in Cardiology, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, a candidate must possess a Post graduate degree (MD) in Internal Medicine recognized by NMC.

  2. Option: Four options (A, B, C, D) 
  3. Number of questions: 200 (no negative marking) 
  4. Full marks: 200 
  5. Pass Marks: 100 
  6. Duration: 3 hours
