BA LL.B. is a five year Bachelor of Law program. . It comprises studies on wide variety of areas of law. The course intends to generate proficient lawyers with adequate analytical power and critical thinking.
BA LL.B. students can choose one of the four areas of specialization from the fourth year and therefore can pursue a specialized law degree.
The specialization areas are
1. Criminal Law and Criminology,
2. International Trade and Business Law,
3. Constitutional Law
4. Environment and Development Law
Why Studying Law?A law degree equips graduates for an extensive array of careers and provides a balanced and varied foundation for whatever career path is pursued. Law graduates are provided with the opportunity to consider and analyze topical and controversial issues and are taught how to think critically, how to analyze and persuade by logical argument.

People with adequate knowledge of law can be involved in any area of life they are interested in. Therefore, law graduates are highly regarded by employers both within and outside the legal profession and opportunities open to them are manifold.
Eligibility
Admission eligibility
- Students must have completed 10+2, or Proficiency Certificate Level on any faculty from Higher Secondary Board (or any University)
- Students must fill up a prescribed Admission Form attaching an attested copy of each of the credentials of previous degree, transfer, character certificates etc. from an accrediting institution.
- Students must appear in an Entrance Examination and Orientation class.
