Bachelor of Arts - Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB) is a five-year, 10 semesters program of Mid-Western University.  It covers subjects related to the Arts field such as Political Science, Economics, and Sociology alongside specialized fields of law.

The BA.LL.B. course focuses on developing skills that will help the students to tackle any kind of legal problem they may deal with in the future. The objective of this course is to equip the students with expert knowledge and a unique perspective on it. It enables the students to think critically in a creative way and come up with innovative ideas to tackle the aforesaid legal issues.

Eligibility

10+2 equivalent examinations minimum D+ grade in each subject or equivalent. 

Admission Criteria

Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary Level Education (10+2 equivalent examinations in any subject scoring minimum marks (D+) grade in each subject or equivalent) from a recognized board are eligible to appear in the entrance examination. A candidate passing the entrance exam shall be eligible for the interview/presentation. A candidate passing the interview/presentation shall be eligible for admission on the basis of marks obtained at the entrance. 

The candidates with their results waiting in Higher Secondary School Examination are permitted to appear in the selection process. However, those candidates who are unable to complete the Higher Secondary School Examination with the required grade shall not be eligible for the final admission.

Following documents should be submitted while applying for the entrance examination:

  • Photocopy of S.L.C Mark sheet
  • Photocopy of S.L.C Character Certificate
  • Photocopy of Class 11 Mark sheet (in case of +2 Examination result is not published)
  • Photocopy of +2 Examination's Admit Card (in case of +2 examination result is not published)
  • Photocopy of Transcript (10+2 or equivalent Examination)
  • Photocopy of Character Certificate (10+2 or equivalent Examination)
  • Photocopy of Provisional Certificate (10+2 or equivalent Examination)
  • Photocopy of Migration Certificate (10+2 or equivalent Examination)
  • Photocopy of Citizenship
  • PP Size photo (Three)

Job Prospects

A law student has numerous opportunities after completion of the course. A Law graduate can be a legal advisor, advocate, solicitor, and teacher or can get employment opportunities in various courts of law, government service, and more.

The law students have many options. But they can also work to bring social reforms and teach the same in society.
