National Institute of Science (NIS) S. School/Patan Nistha Campus (NIST PATAN) is a coeducational private academic organization established in 1994 by the group of academicians having national and International exposure in the field of higher education in its own centrally located peaceful modern infrastructure.
NIST Patan a college with the philosophy of ‘Academic Distinctness’ is idealized as a students heaven of learning. The institution has been managed by the well-known NIST Foundation, Group of Institutions, Kathmandu. Our initial strategy is to concentrate on science, management and Law education and gradually humanities, and other technical subjects in the future. The institution has the long-term vision to be a center of excellence in producing Medical Doctors, Engineers, Scientists, Chartered Accountants, Business Executives, Lawyers and Administrators who will be socially responsible and contribute for the National Development.
NIST Patan is affiliated with Tribhuvan University and is offering Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBS) programs to those who want to pursue their career in these fields. The college provides the platform to the students to be competitive in the National and International market. Students can learn the fundamental things such as wisdom, positive thinking, self-discipline and self-integrity which are needed them for pursuing a successful career and leading a better life.

Evaluation System:
Regular weekly tests and two terminal examinations are conducted prior to the pre-board exam. Re-test and internal practical exams are also held. All tests are compulsory. The students must pass the pre-board exam to appear in NEB final exam.
