Kathmandu BernHardt College is a unique institution designed to disseminate quality education to students.The college is offering Bachelors degree in Management (BBS), Bachelor of Arts (BA/BASW) and Bachelor in Computer Science and Information Technology (B.Sc CSIT), Bachelor in Business Management (BBM), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) and Masters of Business Studies (MBS) program with affiliation from Tribhuvan University. 

The inspiration derived from this outstanding success in managing the school, quite naturally, has led us to conduct a college of our own, hence Kathmandu BernHardt College (KBC). The atmosphere of KBC positively enhances the learning process of students. It is situated in the quiet atmosphere at Bafal Ring Road within easy reach of major locations of Kathmandu - the capital city. Peaceful, safe, independent cafeteria, spacious sports field and friendly academic environments are the essence that makes BernHardt unique as ideal study center.

Vision:

The vision of KBC has evolved over the years since its inception in 2003. The vision of KBC is to develop the center of excellence for Management, Social Sciences, Technical and Professional education and Research at par with national and international standard, advancing the nation’s interest to fulfill gaps of skilled professional as well as to compete successfully in the global arena.

This vision stands today as the underpinning and conceptual framework for the strategies and initiatives outlined in the plan that follows. It also reflects the values and aspirations of a broad cross section of the college.

Eligibility 

For Admission in B.Sc CSIT program:

  • Students seeking admissions in B.Sc CSIT program must have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board with at least 'C' Grade in all subjects;
  • Students must pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University.

For Admission in BBM program:

  • Must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 'D+' Grade in all subjects from a recognized board;
  • Students must qualify the CMAT entrance exam conducted by the University.

For Admission in BCA program:

  • Students must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 'D+' Grade in all subjects from a recognized board;
  • Students must pass the entrance examination conducted by the University.

For Admission in BA, BSW and BBS programs:

  • Students must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 'D+' Grade in all subjects from a recognized board;
  • Students must pass the entrance examination conducted by the College.

For Admission in MBS program:

  • Students must have completed Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University;
  • Students must have passed the entrance examination conducted by the University.

Admission Process

Admission to BernHardt is highly competitive. The best students apply and they need to go through a fair but rigorous selection process.

Application Form

TU Entrance Examination Application form is available at all colleges offering BSc. CSIT Program. Applicants should submit these forms duly filled in with supporting academic documents by the stipulated date and time.

TU Entrance Exam. The institute of Science and Technology (Tribhuvan University) conducts the Entrance Examination for B.Sc CSIT program. The Entrance Questions asked are from English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Sample Test Papers can be collected from BernHardt along with the TU Application forms. Getting through this Exam is mandatory for admission

BernHardt Admission Form

Successful students in the TU Entrance Exam should fill in the BernHardt Admission Form. Students submitting TU Entrance Exam forms from any other college are also eligible to apply here.

Personal Interview

The aspiring students need to appear for the Personal Interview immediately after the Entrance result. Students should come along with their Parents/Guardian in the Interview.

Enrollment

After the Successful appearance in the Interview the Applicant should enroll by paying the prescribed fee within given time.
