The Kabhre Multiple Campus, Kavre, is the community campus of Tribhuvan University. It is QAA Accreditated by University Grant Commission (UGC) Nepal on 23 December 2019, and the accreditation will be valid until 22 December 2024.

ABOUT

Kabhre Multiple Campus, the oldest campus of Kavre district, is a TU & NEB affiliated public campus established in 1980 (2037 BS). It has an aim of disseminating accessible and affordable quality education to all in a tranquil environment with fully dedicated and committed faculty members including the renowned academicians, writers, scholars and educationists. It is totally a non- profit making public campus.

The campus has been striving to replicate its innovative teaching methods for cognitive development of the students with prior focus on life-skill oriented practical education since its establishment. Moreover, it has strong faith in producing energetic and competent human resource for the competitive global market.

Now the campus has been running MBS, BBS and BA affiliated to T.U. and Humanities and Management in Higher Secondary in the morning shift. Similarly it has launched Master's in Sociology in the evening shift. Likewise it is planning to commence B.Ed. program in the coming academic session.

The campus has its own spacious building with well-organized classrooms, library, and Computer lab with unlimited internet access. In addition to that the campus has well experienced, qualified and dedicated faculty members acquainted with new academic skills and techniques.

Kabhre Multiple Campus is one of the campuses among the other 18 campuses selected for ESP (Entrepreneurship Support Program) by UGC Nepal. The program launched with the motto of making each student an entrepreneur while being a student at the campus provides a maximum amount of Rs. 40 lakh to the student as seed money for the entrepreneurship support.

The campus has a mission to establish it into a deem university in the future along with the incorporation of various autonomous courses as per the need of the society, nation and global market.

The objective of the campus is to serve the community by imparting quality education, conduct research-based programs, and adopt innovative technology-friendly and student-friendly classes with an aim of producing technically equipped entrepreneurial human resources availing broad access to education to the local, national, and international community

Kabhre Multiple Campus is planning to commence academic programs in Bachelor in Information Technology (BIT), Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA), and Bachelor in Social Work (BSW).

Salient Features

Computer Lab
Kabhrre Multiple Campus has two computer labs containing an adequate number of computers with unlimited internet access and one digital microprocessor lab with sufficient and advanced materials. Students at KMC can adequately utilize them for practical and research purposes.
Science Lab
The campus has three distinct labs (biology, physics, and chemistry) with adequate materials for academic study. The science group students have immense opportunities to use the labs for practical learning.
Project and Research Lab
The campus has a distinct project & research lab which enables the teachers and students to be involved in various project works and research activities
Extra Curricular Activities
Kabhre Multiple Campus conducts various competitive indoor and outdoor events, including games and other academic activities, to flourish the inner creative capacities of the students and also to prepare the students for social issues. Games such as football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess, etc, are regularly organized by the campus. Similarly, other competitions like debate, elocution, quiz, poem recitation, essay writing, music, dance, and several others are held on different occasions throughout the year, and awards & prizes are distributed accordingly. Furthermore, to help students socialize with different dimensions of society, programs like blood donation, forestation, sanitation, and social awareness programs are frequently held on campus.
Library
Kabhre Multiple Campus has a spacious, fully furnished, and up-to-date open-access library containing over 25 thousand textbooks, reference books, daily and monthly newspapers, journals, and periodicals to quench the thirst of studious students and research professionals. The campus has developed the library as a public library in association with Janamat Wangmaya Pratisthan, and it is open to the public as well. The campus administration remains open in the morning and day shift.
E-Library
The campus has an equipped, fully furnished and resources-excess E- library with distinct e-library system allowing unlimited internet access to introduce students in technological teaching learning activities. It assists the students and the teachers in their research works. It also has excess to many reputed national and international libraries of the world.
Accessible Transportation
The campus provides students with accessible transport to their students for safe travels to and from the campus premises.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Kabhre Multiple Campus provides various scholarships for students. Merit-based scholarships are provided to genius students who perform best in their internal and board examinations. Similarly, these are various funded scholarships for the underprivileged, marginalized, separately able, and deserving students.
