CIST College has been established under the umbrella of Central Institute of Science and Technology with an affiliation from Pokhara University. The College is run by professionals who have extensive national and international experience in their fields. CIST College is well equipped with modern laboratories and highly qualified faculty.

Admission Guidelines

Eligibility for Bachelor of Public Health (BPH):

10+2 Science (Biology stream) or PCL Science (Biology Stream) or PCL/Diploma in Health Sciences (any stream) or equivalent degree as recognized by Pokhara University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Minimum 2.4 CGPA in Aggregate and Minimum C+ Grade in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and Minimum C Grade in other subjects.

Eligibility For Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm):

10+2 Science (Biology stream) or PCL Science (Biology Stream) or Diploma in Pharmacy or equivalent degree as recognized by Pokhara University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

OR,

Physical Group: Minimum 2.4 CGPA in Aggregate and Minimum C+ Grade in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and Minimum C Grade in other subjects.

OR,

Biological Group: Minimum 2.4 CGPA in Aggregate and Minimum C+ Grade in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and Minimum C Grade in other subjects.

Eligibility for Master. Pharm. (Clinical Pharmacy)

B. Pharm or equivalent degree as recognized by Pokhara University with CGPA 2.5 out of 4 scale or equivalent relative conversion in case of other grading systems or 55% in percentage system.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Since the beginning, the college is providing full academic scholarship to students as per government rules and regulation. At present the college is providing scholarship to 10% of the enrolled students based on the nomination by the Ministry of Education / Pokhara University.

In addition, the college provides a cash prize of Rs. 15,000.00 (divisible if equal scores) to students securing the highest score in the university examination in each semester for both programs.
