ABOUT

Yogi Naraharinath Study and Research Institute was established in the year 2075 B.S. (2018 A.D.) and began running its academic programs from the fiscal year 2077/078 B.S. (2020/21 A.D.). This institution operates in partnership with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). From its inception, it has been offering 3-year diploma programs in Civil Engineering, Agriculture (Plant Science), and Forestry.

Currently, the institute has a total of 14 regular staff and instructors. Including 15 part-time instructors, there are 29 teaching personnel involved in academic activities. In addition, guest instructors are occasionally invited to conduct classes as needed.

This academic institution is located in a peaceful and pleasant area in Inam, Birendranagar-7, Surkhet, the capital of Karnali Province. It lies to the east of Ghantaghar Chowk and just north of the District Police Office’s premises. The campus is situated about 50 meters uphill from the road near the Nepal Agricultural Development Bank’s Provincial Office.

Admission Guidelines

  • Students who have passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE), Lower Level Certificate (LLC), or Technical SLC/Pre-Diploma from a recognized educational institution by meeting the prescribed minimum criteria will be eligible to participate in the entrance examination.
  • Admission will be granted based on the merit order of the entrance examination results.
  • Other admission-related provisions will be in accordance with the Diploma and Certificate Level Entrance Examination Operation, Scholarship Distribution, and Admission Guidelines 2081 issued by the Examination Control Office of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur.
