Tanahu Technical School

The Tanahun Technical School (TTS), Bhimad has been established in 1991. It is situated at 29 km east from the Province headquarter in Pokhara and 7.5 km south from khairenitar Bazar in Pirthivi highway. The school is placed in the very peaceful & pleasant environment. The main aim of the TTS is to produce competent and confident basic and middle level technical workforce to satisfy need of the nation and beyond. TTS has 21.3 Ropanis of own land, adequate infrastructures and sufficient number of competent and enthusiastic staffs having long time professional experience for academic and training program. Almost within 26 years of its operation, 7035 people having 23.31% DALIT and 45.35% JANAJATI were trained with different short term courses among them 3777 were FEMALE. Based on the tracer study report, prepared in 2015 and 2016, more than 75% graduates were found engaged in self employment/ employment within the country and outside
