Sailaja Acharya Memorial Polytechnic (SAMP), located in Siswani Jahada -3, Morang is jointly run by Shree Krishan Prasad Koirala Sewa Guthi (SKPKSG) & Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training (CTEVT). Founded with the mission to uplift the economic and social status of rural communities by producing skilled and employable manpower, SAMP offers various programs in technical education and vocational training including Staff Nurse, VJTA, TSLC Ayurved, P JTA and ANM program.
Over the years, SAMP has expanded its offerings to include several diploma and pre-diploma programs in fields like nursing, agriculture, engineering, and information technology. Notably, the institute constructed a nursing college building in 2066 BS with the support of the Indian Embassy. Since its establishment, SAMP has trained over 3200 technical professionals and provided short-term training to more than 1500 individuals.
SAMP collaborates with various agencies and has received support from the Government of Nepal and the Ministry of Social Development to conduct skill-based training programs. These efforts have enabled many individuals to gain self-employment and secure jobs in different sectors, contributing significantly to the development of technical manpower in Nepal.
