Established in 1986 by Dr. Mithilesh Kumar Sah, Monastic Secondary English Boarding School embarked on a journey of providing quality education in Nepal. Initially founded in Matihani village, the school later relocated to Janakpurdham, where it flourished under Dr. Sah's leadership. With a focus on equipping students for active participation in public life, the institution expanded its offerings from kindergarten to ten plus two (10+2) levels. Over the years, the school's commitment to excellence attracted a growing number of students, reaching 2200 by 2010. Despite personal challenges, such as Dr. Sah's battle with cancer, his unwavering dedication to education remained steadfast, inspiring countless individuals within the school community.
Following Dr. Sah's passing in 2014, his family continued his legacy, collectively managing the school and overseeing its development. Today, Monastic School stands as a beacon of quality education in Janakpurdham, with modern infrastructure and a focus on holistic development. The school's ethos revolves around providing a nurturing environment where students are encouraged to explore their potential through activity-based learning and scientific inquiry. With spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and a dedicated faculty, Monastic School remains committed to shaping the future leaders of Nepal, embodying Dr. Sah's vision of 'Quality education for Quality life'.
