Godawari Municipality is one of the 6 municipalities in Lalitpur District of Bagmati Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 97,633, comprising 48,140 males (49.3%) and 49,493 females (50.7%), with a literacy rate of 82.96%. Spanning 96.11 square kilometers, Godawari Municipality exhibits the population density of 1,016 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 6 wards.
