Admission Guidelines

After completion of Secondary Education Examination (SEE) conducted by National Examination Board (NEB), the students are eligible to face entrance exam test which is conducted by CTEVT. The criteria for admission are based on merit of the entrance examination.

About Us

Kathmandu Institute of Technology Pvt. Ltd. (KIT) is located at Milan Tole, Tokha Road, Kathmandu. It is a promising institution, which was founded by an enthusiastic group of academicians in the year 2057 B.S. with the cherished goal of producing high quality manpower in the country and committed to provide excellent educational opportunity.

The faculty members of the college are committed to instill knowledge, skill, responsibility, discipline and commitment, the five pillars of success. Success is possible only through hard, concerted and dedicated efforts of all; students, teachers, guardians and parents, management and the community. Kathmandu Institute Of Technology Institute proposes to carry out activities in the area of academics and technology. However, at the moment, KIT is running three-year Diploma Engineering programs such as Civil, Architecture, Electronics, Electrical and Computer affiliated with the Council For Technical education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur.

Collaboration With Zhengzhou Electric Power College, China

KIT College has a strategic partnership and collaboration agreement with Zhengzhou Electric Power College (ZEPC), Zhengzhou, China, to train students in China. Faculties of ZEPC are coming to KIT College to take classes. The agreement between KIT College and ZEPC includes:

  1. 5-8 students of KIT College studying Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering are allowed to intern and practical training in ZEPC for two weeks every year, for which students only have to pay the transportation cost, and no additional fees will be charged by ZEPC.

  2. Students of KIT College studying Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering are eligible to register and join ZEPC after completion of 6 semesters (3 Years) in KIT College to study 2 semesters in ZEPC to obtain Diploma in Electrical Engineering from ZEPC with following facilities.

    1. KIT Students are eligible for 100% scholarships on tuition fees charged by ZEPC.

    2. KIT Students are eligible for Scholarships up to RMB 10,000.00, which will be paid in two installments after each semester's completion.

    3. Upon successful completion of study in ZEPC, students will be awarded a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from ZEPC and are eligible for admission to an undergraduate program (Bachelor's Degree) in China. ZEPC will recommend these students for scholarships to the universities with whom it collaborates.

  3. ZEPC arranges KIT College students for internships in Chinese-funded enterprises based on their willingness every year.

  4. Arrange Chinese professional teachers and language course teachers to provide online or offline teaching.
