Innovative Development Education Academy

Innovative development Education Academy (IDEA) is a non-profit private developmental organization registered in the Ministry of Nepal. Since it’s establishments IDEA has been involved in various types of education and training programme at the crossroad of national development.

IDEA has an affiliation with Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) Nepal for the implementation of Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) training programme and an accreditation with Nepal Nursing Council for the registration of ANM graduates.

The significant role of the nurses/ midwives in order to promote quality health care of the children, adolescence and women for reduction of maternal mortality and morbidity highly needed in the country like Nepal. 

ANMs are one of the front line health workers who can contribute their services from community level to district level of health care system. The curriculum of ANM is designed to deal midwifery, community health, health education, reproductive health, safe motherhood, child care, ethics, clients rights and community diagnosis to the root causes of underdevelopment of health in Nepal.

Besides, ANM courses, it has also initiated other programs such as Veterinary Junior Technical Assistant Programme, and Primary Teacher Training.

Goal

The goal of IDEA is to offer technical education to cater the demand of Nepalese youth in an international standard in various subjects.

Mission

The mission of IDEA is to promote human resource development through education, training, research and development activities and reduce poverty in Nepal.
