Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED) is currently inviting applications for Postdoctoral Positions in its priority research domains.
The selected candidates will participate in research and publication activities that align with KUSOED's broader objectives, focusing on teacher education in Early Childhood Development (ECD), School Counselling, STEAM Education, and Indigenous Education. The initial appointment term is one year, with the possibility of extending it for a second year. Part-time positions are available. Fellowship recipients are encouraged to seek funding from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and other relevant bodies once they are nominated and enrolled by the School of Education. Furthermore, fellows will receive mentorship from KUSOED's local faculty and international scholars.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A Ph.D. in Education or any relevant field
- A minimum of three scholarly publications in areas such as teacher professional development, curriculum implementation, teacher identity, adult learning, STEAM education, language education, educational leadership, and related fields
- Demonstrated ability to expand their existing research scope
- A commitment to enhancing research skills relevant to ECD, School Counselling, STEAM Education, and/or Indigenous Education Preferably, experience in community-based initiatives and the academic sector
A strong understanding of participatory methods, integrated learning, and inclusive educational practices is highly appreciated.
