Council of Ministers has appointed Professor Dr. Amma Raj Joshi as the Vice-chancellor of Far West University.
Professor Joshi, is a Professor of English at Tribhuvan University and has been Head of Central Department of English.
He is an expert in Higher Education, Research and Curriculum Development and has served Tribhuvan University for 32 years since 1988.
Similarly, Council of Ministers has appointed VCs in other Universities, including Prof. Dr. Yadav Prakash Lamichhine at Nepal Sanskrit University, Professor Dr. Prem Narayan Aryal at Pokhara University, Professor Dr. Yadav Raj Koirala at Purbanchal University, Professor Dr. Nanda Bahadur Singh at Mid-Western University.
