BIT Program of TU to Be Run at Three Additional Campuses

The Bachelor in Information Technology (BIT) program run by Tribhuvan University Institute of Science and Technology will be taught from 12 affiliated colleges from this academic year.

Tribhuvan University has expanded the program to Ramsworup Ramsagar Multiple Campus, Janakpur, Padma Kanya Campus, Kathmandu, and Thakur Ram Multiple Campus, Birgunj starting this academic session.

Binil Aryal, Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology, stated that each member campus has a quota of 36 students every session, and colleges would begin teaching at the undergraduate level in the academic session 2078-079.

The campuses have already started the admission process for conducting BIT under Technical Education (Computer) as per the demand of the students. Students who have passed the entrance examination conducted by the Dean's Office will be enrolled accordingly.
