To get admission to study Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) program of Tribhuvan University, students should pass BIT entrance examination conducted by TU IOST.
Total mark of the entrance examination is 100 marks. The questions are asked from the following subjects of grade 11-12 or equivalent. Questions of 50 marks will be asked for English subjects and 50 marks of either Mathematics or Computer (Students can choose either Mathematics and Computer)

Group B
- Marks: 50/50
- Mathematics (Grade 11) OR Computer (Grade 11-12)

- Entrance Syllabus: Objective questions in English, Mathematics or Computer Science from proficiency certificate level (Grade 11 and Grade 12).
Note: If the applicants secured equal marks in Entrance Examination; placement list will be prepared taking into account of marks secured in Mathematics/Computer subjects. If applicants have secured equal marks in these subjects, marks taken in the English subject is taken into account to prepare placment list.
