Bachelor in Hospitality Management (BHM) of University of Computer Science and Skills is four years programme aims to prepares candidates for responsible and qualified roles in various functions e.g., hotel and travel agencies.
Through International Higher Education standards BHM program delivers knowledge and skills opening successful careers in the hospitality sector.
The Bachelor of Hospitality Management emphasizes the concept of Employability Impact.
Objective of the program
- To use theory, case study insights, and practical demonstrations to develop students’ intellectual caliber, professional and leadership
- skills, and problem-solving capacity for the hospitality industry.
- To communicate profound understandings of present and future opportunities and challenges typically found in contemporary
- hospitality organisations and to identify scope for general and particular improvements.
- To analyse and foster appropriate leadership roles embedded in the management of hospitality organisations and responsibilities by sophisticated approaches to drive organisational development and to meet the needs of demanding customers and multiple organizational constituents and contexts.
- To explore the scope and content of effective organisational and functional strategies focused on the hospitality industry, organizational sustainability, and progress within permanently changing environments.
Learning Outcomes
- Develop first critical thinking and analytical approaches to principles and practices of contemporary contexts in the hospitality industry by sound analysis of its internal and external environment.
- In addition, gain practical capabilities adding value to employers and their organisations, and being appreciated by customers.
- Develop the ability to read, understand, and make sense of specific organisational needs for sustainable progress in a variety of contexts of the hospitality industry.
- Introduce to evaluation and critical selection of strategies, tactics, and operational models in the contemporary and future-oriented hospitality management.
- Contribute to hospitality organisations through informed insights for practising socially responsible corporate citizenship and apply high standards of moral and ethical behaviour to the own work and to that of an organisation in the hospitality industry.
Eligibility
To be eligible for Bachelor in Hospitality Management (BHM), students must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with atleast D+ Grade in all subjects of Class 11 and 12 from a recognized board.
