Direct and full-time UK university course

In close collaboration with the University of Wolverhampton in the UK, Herald offers bachelor's degrees in IT and business. The courses were fully created, approved, and taught by the University of Wolverhampton in partnership with New Zealand. This is a direct collaboration, thus credit transfer is not a problem. Students at Herald College have the option to complete their bachelor's degree in its entirety. Our students are given full undergraduate status in the UK.

Admission Guidelines

Students who have finished or will soon finish their upper secondary final exams may apply to the university immediately with their academic transcripts, passports or citizenship certificates, birth certificates, or citizenship of either parent. Students awaiting results may be admitted provisionally. The admissions staff at the college will go over the entry requirements with you when you arrive and help you with the application process. The minimum requirement for applicants is to be at least 18 years old.

For BSc (Hons) Computer Science

  • Academic Level

    • Completion of NEB +2 Qualification with an aggregate ≥ 55% or 2.2 CGPA*
    • For A-Levels, a minimum of 3.5 credits and atleast a grade of D and above.
  • English Proficiency

    • English NEB XII Marks ≥ 60% or 2.4 GPA.
    • Pass in General Paper or English Language or IELTS 5.5 or PTE 47.

Applicants who do not meet the aforementioned proficiency requirements will have to take one of the following internationally recognized English tests:

  • IELTS overall band 5.5 with minimum 5.5 in each band
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) score above 47.

Students who do not match the aforementioned prerequisites will be required to enroll in Year 0 (Level 3), a one-year academic program offered by The University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom.

For BSc (Hons) International Business Management

  • Academic Level

    • Completion of NEB +2 Qualification with an aggregate ≥ 45% or 1.8 CGPA
    • For A-Levels, a minimum of 3.5 credits and at least a grade of D and above.
  • English Proficiency

    • English NEB XII Marks ≥ 45% or 1.8 GPA
    • Pass in General Paper or English Language or IELTS 5.5 or PTE 47.

Applicants who do not meet the aforementioned proficiency requirements will have to take one of the following internationally recognized English tests:

  • IELTS overall band 4.5 with minimum 4.5 in each band
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Score above 47.

Note: The University of Wolverhampton evaluates any other qualifications (CBSE, IB, AP, etc.) on a case-by-case basis.
