Message from the Principal

Bir Singh Chhetri

Dear Students and Guardians

Welcome to Bluebird Secondary School (+2), where learning takes a new dimension.

Over the years, Bluebird has been able to mentor students to achieve success in diverse areas, be it academics or sports or creative ventures. Bluebird understands that it is Imperative NOW to paint the larger canvas. We all are at a critical juncture of history, where the future looks more elusive than ever, owing to technological advancements, divergence of values and human-induced climate change. The more technologically advanced we are appearing as humans, the more backward we are moving in conserving nature and understanding others' perspectives. The importance of education in this context cannot be downplayed. Bluebird has been continuously striving to prepare the students to envision prospective challenges of the world and devise apt tools and strategies to deal with them; to act wisely on making the earth a better place to live in, leveraging technology as and when needed; to be global citizens thereby accommodating divergent values, and to live together in harmony. Hence, Bluebird does not only focus on the hard skills of the subjects our students study here, we also develop the hidden curriculum that makes our students emotionally stable, socially acceptable and morally upright to tackle with the unknown.

Having had a humble restart since the year of the devastating earthquake of 2072 BS, Bluebird has been speeding up and accomplishing the milestones enviable to many institutions of its kind. As per its vision it is leading the academia as a flagship of quality, care and accomplishment. Be it medical or para-medical or engineering or law or abroad study scholarships, or recruitment in the army officer cadet, Bluebird has been at the forefront of achievers. Hence, 1, on behalf of Team Bluebird, pledge that our efforts to shape our children into the most promising ones shall always come prior to anything else. If education, to quote John Dewey, in not preparation of life but life itself; come, then, live a life the Bluebird way!
