The college offers Bachelor 's degree ( in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering), Diploma in Engineering (Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics engineering ), and 10+2 programs in Science stream.
The college is situated at very easy location and is very much a part of the locality Sitapaila, Kathmandu.
Prospective students with 10+2 or P.C.L. (Physical or biological group with at least 100 marks Math) who have secured 45% in the aggregate or Diploma in Engineering or Architecture or an equivalent course from Higher Secondary Board or any Board or University recognized by Purbanchal University are eligible to apply. However, all the prospective students are required to pass the entrance examinations and the aptitude test conducted by the University.

Acme Engineering College is constantly renovating and seeking for innovative methods of teaching in order to achieve excellence in education. Teaching methods at the college vary according to the course of study and aims of the students. For under-graduate courses, lectures are the basic medium of teaching. These are complemented by tutorials, seminars and where appropriate, by laboratory and field study. In all these activities, the emphasis is on interactive exchange between students and staffs. Students are also encouraged to publish papers and organize the events like seminars, workshops, talk programs etc, which is considerably important to assure the novelty and relevancy of their learning by self exploration.
Out of total admitted students in each faculty, top 5% students get intelligent scholarship on the basis of entrance examination and 5% students get classified scholarship.
