The programs offered by Kathmandu University are the Bachelor of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Business Information System (BBIS), BBA (Hons)/BBA (Emphasis) and Bachelor in Hospitality Management (BHM).
The admission to BBA, BBIS, BBA (Hons)/BBA (Emphasis) programs of Kathmandu University (KU) is strictly merit-based and will be determined by the scores in Kathmandu University Undergraduate Management Admission Test (KUUMAT).
Exam Format for KUUMAT
KUUMAT test consists of multiple choice questions. There is a failing grade. 0.25 marks will be subtracted for each incorrect response. Therefore, 1 (one) correct answer is not affected by 4 (four) incorrect replies.
The following are the KUUMAT entrance test cutoff scores:
- Kathmandu University Undergraduate Management Admission Test (KUUMAT) score of 50 percentile or above.
- After passing KUUMAT with the requisite score, a 50 percentile or above in analytical writing and the personal interview.
Numerous coaching facilities offer KUUMAT preparation classes. These courses are frequently costly even though they could be useful to students. The only KU-affiliated college that offers free KUUMAT preparatory programs is Nepal College of Management (NCM).
