DM/MCh Common Entrance Exam Notice
Medical Education Commission calls for the online application to select candidates on a merit basis for the following DM/MCh programs run by different Universities and Health Science Academies throughout the country. Online application is called from all eligible Nepalese and Foreign Candidates from July 06, 2023, 10:00 AM to July 19, 2023, 5:00 PM (NST) through https://entrance.mec.gov.np

The Candidate with a specialty subject in MD (For example MD Cardiology, MD Nephrology, etc.) and MS (For example MS Urology, MS Neurosurgery, etc.) shall be eligible only in DM/MCh/NBMS-SS in respective subject only.

- Application Deadline: July 19, 2023; 5:00 PM (NST)
- The entrance examination date: Shrawan 20, 2080 (August 05, 2023)
- The entrance examination center: Information and Communication Technology Center (ICTC), Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk, Lalitpur
- The entrance examination time: 9 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM
Eligibility for foreign candidates
- It is mandatory for all foreign candidates to submit the application form on the due date.
- All candidates should score at least 50 percent in the entrance exam to qualify for admission.
- If the number of foreign merit candidates is less than the available seats allocated for foreign candidates, matching will be done only once.
- The remaining seats henceforth will be transferred to Nepalese open seats.
- Foreign candidates who are selected for admission are required to produce original documents during admission.
- Foreign candidates who are selected for admission are required to register in the Medical Council of the respective country before the academic session begins.
- Candidates who submit fake documents will be liable for legal actions as per prevailing rules and regulations of Nepal.
- Private practice is not allowed during the residency.
- Medical Education Common Entrance Examination Committee reserves all the rights regarding entrance examination.
