Nepal Open University, Faculty of Social Sciences and Education, announces an extension of the admission application period for the academic year 2080/081. The extension applies to various programs, including M.Phil. in Social Sciences (English, Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, and Economics), Masters in Educational Science (Education Studies, Nepali Education, and English Education), Masters in Pedagogical Sciences (MPS, One Year), and Masters Degree in Media and Communication. The new deadline for admission applications for these programs is from Poush 02, 2090 (December 18, 2023) to Poush 15, 2080 (December 31, 2023).

The Nepal Open University, Faculty of Social Sciences and Education, is extending the admission deadline for various programs. This includes the 4th Semester of the MPhil in Political Science program for the 2077 winter intake, MPhil in Education (English, Nepali, Mathematics, Health & Education Studies) for the academic year 2078 winter intake, Master in Educational Science: Education Studies, Bachelor of Arts (BA) (English, Nepali, Sociology, and Economics), Master in Media and Communication Studies for the third semester of the program in the academic year 2078 winter intake, Master in Educational Sciences (Education Studies, Nepali Education, and English), Master in Pedagogical Science, Bachelor of Arts (Sociology, English, Nepali, Economics, Journalism and Mass Communication, Library and Information Science, Islamic Studies), and the One-Year B.Ed (English, Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Agriculture) for the second semester of the program. The new deadline for admission is until 2080/9/13. As admission is compulsory for regular studies, prospective students are encouraged to contact the respective Dean's office for additional information.

Previous Notice

Nepal Open University is accepting applications for the fall and winter semester of the academic year 2080 in the faculties of Social, Science, Business, Health, and Technology. Prospective candidates can apply for the first semester by referring to the detailed information provided on the Nepal Open University website. The entrance date, time, and other additional details will be published on the university's website and the entrance fees will be 1000 for each student.

Candidates who have completed seven regular semesters and passed the external examination are eligible to apply for the second semester. Detailed information is available on the university website. The tuition fee for the entrance fees and second semester should be deposited in Global IME Bank Limited, Kirtipur Branch, Account No. 0501010000502, under the name NEPAL KHULLA BISHWOBIDHYALAYA (Nepal Open University).

Online applications, along with the bank voucher for the deposited amount for the academic year 2080 (2023-2024), can be submitted from Mangsir 14, 2080, to Mangsir 30, 2080. This notice is published for all concerned individuals to study regularly and contact the relevant department for further information regarding the mandatory application.
