ABOUT

Shree Secondary School Doghare, established in 1974 A.D., is a government institution located in Doghare, within Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan City, Dang. Serving approximately 400 students from Nursery to Grade 10, the school primarily caters to students from lower economic and marginalized backgrounds. Many of these students balance their studies with household chores or work in construction sites, stone mining areas, workshops, and furniture-making during holidays to support their families and education.

A significant portion of the student body belongs to the Dalit community, with the remainder representing Janajati, Brahmin, and Kshetri castes. The students commute from nearby villages, often walking distances ranging from 20 minutes to an hour to reach the school.

While the school is located near the bus park of a developed area, it faces challenges due to dilapidated infrastructure and a lack of essential amenities, such as toilets for male students. However, despite these difficulties, the school has been working tirelessly to build trust within the community. Home visits during admission campaigns have been instrumental in establishing strong relationships with both students and their families, helping to counteract the previous decline in enrollment.

Shree Secondary School Doghare continues to strive for a better future for its students, focusing on providing education and support to those who need it the most, ensuring that each student is empowered to break the cycle of poverty and pursue opportunities for a brighter future.
