Kathmandu International Study Centre is located in Lalitpur. It offers classes from Pre-Kindergarden level to Grade 12.
The Kathmandu International Study Centre (KISC) arose from the educational needs of mission workers' children who arrived in Nepal to provide humanitarian aid after the country's borders were opened to foreigners in the early 1950s. United Mission to Nepal (UMN) and International Nepal Fellowship (INF) founded KISC in 1987, and it has since grown into a reputable international Christian school in Nepal. The Nepali NGO Human Development and Community Services (HDCS) was awarded ownership of KISC by the Ministry of Education of Nepal in 2007. For over 30 years, God has richly blessed KISC, and we wish to share that goodness with others in Nepal.
