Jaleshwor Municipality is one of the 15 municipalities in Mahottari District of Madhesh Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 63,802, comprising 31,391 males (49.2%) and 32,411 females (50.8%), with a literacy rate of 67.59%. Spanning 44.26 square kilometers, Jaleshwor Municipality exhibits the population density of 1,442 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 12 wards.
