Inaruwa Municipality is one of the 12 municipalities in Sunsari District of Koshi Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 74,914, comprising 36,689 males (49.0%) and 38,225 females (51.0%), with a literacy rate of 75.31%. Spanning 77.92 square kilometers, Inaruwa Municipality exhibits the population density of 961 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 10 wards.
