Pokhara University is running more than 20 programs at the Bachelor's Level. Under Faculty of Management Studies, it provides scholarships to study BBA, BBA-BI, BCIS, BHCM, BHM, and BBA-TT programs. 

Under the Faculty of Science and Technology, Pokhara University runs nine programs: BE-Computer, B.Arch, BE-Civil, BE-Civil & Rural, BE-Electronics and Communication, BE-Software, BE-IT, BE-Electrical, and Electronics, BE-Civil for Diploma holders, BCA, and BSc in Environmental Management. BDevs, BECS, and BED are the programs that run under the humanities and social sciences faculty. 

Medical Education Commission fixes seats for both g and scholarship categories for the programs run under the medical and allied sciences faculty.

• Online Application Form Submission Deadline: Ashadh 14, 2083  (June 28, 2026)

• Online forms can be filled out through the Pokhara University Scholarship Portal at Scholarship Portal.

1. Ashadh 20, 2083 (Saturday)
   1. Faculty of Science and Technology Group (A): 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM
   2. Faculty of Science and Technology Group (B): 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
2. Ashadh 21, 2083 (Sunday)
   1. Faculty of Management: 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM
   2. Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Groups (A), (B), (C): 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Types of Scholarships 

According to the Pokhara University Scholarships Act-2065, the Types of scholarships provided by Pokhara University are as follows:
(a) Merit-based scholarship,
(b) Open scholarship,
(c) Local scholarship,
(d) Dalit scholarship,
(e) Indigenous scholarship,
(f) Disabled, Martyr, and Janandolan Affected scholarship,
(g) Scholarships for Children of Teachers and Staff,
(h) Madhesi Community scholarship.

An individual who receives a scholarship will be exempt from paying the full tuition fees while studying in an educational institution. In addition to this, other facilities that the university has decided upon will also be provided to the scholarship recipient. However, the student will cover their living expenses, transportation, and other miscellaneous expenses throughout their studies.

Selection Process

Scholarship awardees are selected through open competition. During the selection process through open competition, a subject-specific written examination will be conducted, with a maximum score of 150, where the candidate must obtain a minimum of 35 percent marks. The score obtained by the candidate will be the basis for candidate selection.
