Scholarships for MBA, MHCM and MCIS Programs at Pokhara University

Pokhara University, Faculty of Management, invites online applications for entrance examinations from eligible Nepali citizens for scholarship study in the following Master of Business Administration (MBA), MBA Finance, MBA (Global Business), Master of Healthcare Management (MHCM), and Master of Computer Information Systems (MCIS) programs for the August Session-2025 at its constituent schools and affiliated colleges/campuses. Candidates will be selected for scholarships according to the Pokhara University Scholarship Regulations, 2065.

Note :

As the MBA, MHCM, and MCIS examinations will be held on the same date and time, candidates applying for MBA cannot apply for MHCM and MCIS. Similarly, candidates applying for MHCM and MCIS cannot apply for MBA. Therefore, candidates must apply accordingly when submitting the online application.

The application fee must be deposited in the account of "Faculty of Management Studies, PoU" at Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Ltd., Dhungepatan branch, within the office hours of the specified deadline. The specified amount can also be deposited through e-Sewa. The original voucher of the e-Sewa deposit must be scanned and submitted along with the form when applying for the scholarship. The Transaction ID on the e-Sewa payment voucher must also be mentioned in the designated field when applying for the scholarship. If the submitted online application is canceled due to the applicant's error, the deposited fee will not be refunded.

Eligibility for PU Scholarship

MBA Program: Candidates seeking admission to the MBA Program should hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, which encompasses 15 years of formal education (12 years of schooling and three years of undergraduate studies). This degree can be in any discipline, with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 (second division) or an equivalent of 45% in the bachelor's level. Additionally, applicants interested in the Executive MBA program are required to have at least two years of work experience at the supervisory or executive level in the organized sector.
MCIS Program: To be eligible for the MCIS Program, applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in BIT/BCA/BCIS/BIM/BBIS or its equivalent. The minimum CGPA required is 2.5/4 (in second division) or higher.
MHCM Program: For admission to the MHCM Program, candidates must have completed their BHCM degree or a Post Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management (HCM). They must be in possession of a bachelor's degree in a health science field or an equivalent qualification. In both cases, a minimum of 15 years of formal education (12 years of schooling plus 3 years of graduation) is required. The minimum CGPA necessary is 2.5/4 (in second division) or above.
