Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be a Nepali citizen.
- For the Master of Development Studies (MDEVS) and Master of Arts in English programs, the applicant must have completed a bachelor’s degree in any subject.
- For the MPhil in English program, the applicant must have completed a master’s degree in any subject.
- Candidates must have passed their Secondary Education Examination (SEE) or equivalent (Class 10) from a government or public school to be eligible for the scholarship. In cases where the scholarship slots remain unfilled, candidates who have completed their education from institutional or private schools may also be considered based on merit.
- The scholarship is available for postgraduate studies for up to three years from graduation.
- There is no time limit for applying for the MPhil program after completing a master's degree.
- The scholarship will be awarded in accordance with the Teacher Staff Scholarship Rules, 2065.
Instructions
- Candidates are responsible for creating their own accounts when completing the online application. If a candidate has previously applied but not received the scholarship, they must create a new account and re-submit the necessary documents.
- It is crucial that candidates fill out the online application within their designated fields of study. Once the form is submitted, no modifications can be made.
- Candidates must ensure consistency in their chosen field of study when completing the online application. Any discrepancies may complicate the application process.
- Candidates who have completed grades 6 to 10 in a public school and passed the SEE or SLC examinations must adhere to the specified format outlined in Schedule-2 when submitting recommendations. If available, candidates should download and submit the format along with their application.
- All sections of the application must be completed in full, regardless of whether a candidate requires a quota. Failure to complete any section may result in the rejection of the application.
- In case of an incomplete online application, candidates will be given one opportunity to rectify deficiencies based on documents submitted by their guardians. Corrections will be made according to the submitted documents and related reservations. Non-compliance with instructions may lead to rejection of the application.
