The Ministry of Social Development, Kailali, Sudurpaschim Province, has announced a scholarship opportunity for eligible students to pursue undergraduate studies at Kathmandu University. As per the letter received from the Registrar's Office of Kathmandu University (letter no. 30/1464/2081/082), one student will be recommended for a tuition fee scholarship in each of the following programs:
- BE in Mining Engineering
- BE in Chemical Engineering
- BE in Environmental Engineering
- Bachelor in Health Informatics
- BSc in Environmental Science
- BSc in Agriculture

- All required documents must be compiled into a single PDF file.
- The PDF file should be clearly visible.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be permanent residents of Sudurpaschim Province.
- Applicants must have studied Science in Class 12 in schools within Sudurpaschim Province.
- Applicants must be willing to bear all other expenses (such as admission, registration, other fees, security deposit, health insurance fees, etc.) as per the university's rules, with only the tuition fee being covered by the scholarship.
Required Documents (to be self-attested):
- Application form with all details clearly filled (as per the format provided with the original letter).
- Grade sheets of Class 8, 10, and 11. (If the Class 12 examination result is published within the application deadline, then the Class 12 pass grade sheet must be submitted).
- Student's citizenship certificate (both sides).
Selection Process:
Selection for the scholarship will be based on the excellent academic results of the applicants among those received. Only the tuition fee will be waived for selected students; the student must bear all other associated university fees.
