Education, Science, and Technology State Minister Pramila Kumari has urged students to utilize their knowledge and skills for the development of the country. Speaking at the convocation ceremony organized by Patan College for Professional Studies (PCPS), she highlighted the increasing youth outmigration rate and emphasized the need to address this issue.
State Minister Kumari also mentioned the government's commitment to creating employment opportunities and praised the college for its social responsibility. Patan College for Professional Studies, an integral part of Lord Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF), is Nepal's first IT College that provides scholarships to students from every province.
British Chambers of Commerce President Rajendra Khetan, who was present at the program, urged his educational institution to bring about positive change in the country. Campus President Engineer Pankaj Jalan emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and private educational institutions for the development of the education sector. He congratulated the graduating students and wished them a bright future.
A total of 68 students, who completed their studies in BSc Computer Science and Software Engineering and BBA, were awarded degrees at the convocation ceremony.
