Purbanchal University has issued a notice regarding the distribution and return of gown sets for students participating in its 14th Convocation Ceremony, scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, 2026 (Baisakh 08, 2083). Students are informed to collect their gown, scarf, and cap as per the schedule below. The items must be returned after the completion of the convocation ceremony.
Key Details:
- Gown, Scart and Cap Distribution Date: From Baisakh 06 to Baisakh 07, 2083
- Time: From 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Requirement for the collection: Students are required to present the original receipt of the fee paid for participation in the convocation ceremony.
- Venue: Examination Management Office, Purbanchal University, Pushpalal Chowk, Biratnagar
- Gown/Scarf/Cap and Refund of Security Deposit Return Date: Baisakh 09 to Baisakh 15, 2083
Students have also been informed that the gown sets must be returned after the completion of the convocation ceremony. In case of any damage to the gown, scarf, or cap while returning, a minimum amount of NPR 300, NPR 300, and NPR 400, respectively, will be deducted from the security deposit. To receive the refund, students must submit the original fee payment receipt along with a completed Security Deposit Refund Slip. The refund amount will be deposited into the concerned individual’s bank account.

Update January 25, 2026
Purbanchal University, Gothgaun, Morang, has published the form application form fill-up notice for the 14th convocation. Students of M.Phil, Masters, and Bachelor level academic programs whose name is listed in the Grace list are eligible to participate in this convocation.
Eligibility
Students who have successfully completed MPhil, Postgraduate, and Graduate programs, having enrolled and passed between January 1, 2025 (Poush 17, 2081) and December 31, 2025 (Poush 16, 2082) are eligible to apply.
Extended Application Form Submission Deadline: Magh 20, 2082 (February 3, 2026)
Application Form Fee
- M.Phil: NRP: 7, 500 (Application form fee NRP: 5,000 and deposit for gown NPR: 2,500)
- Masters: NPR 5,500 (Application form fee NRP: 3,000 and deposit for gown NPR: 2,500)
- Bachelors: NPR: 5,000 (Application form fee NRP: 2,500 and deposit for gown NPR: 2,500)
Along with the application form, a certified copy of the transcript and the required fees must be submitted. Fees should be deposited into Nabil Bank Limited, A/C No. 00710017518402 in the name of the "P.U. Examination Management Office."
